MINOR VIOLATIONS

Harassment or Defamation

  ⦁    Insulting any member of the community, employees, or groups of people in-game and externally.    
       Note: Ongoing harassment will lead to more severe penalties.

Spamming

  ⦁    Using the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish excessively.
  ⦁    Needlessly repeating the same phrase more than once in a period of 30 seconds.
 

SERIOUS VIOLATIONS

Obscene or Vulgar Language

  ⦁    Using language that is crude, offensive, or pornographic in nature.
  ⦁    Referring inappropriately to human anatomy or bodily functions.
   
Illegal Activity

  ⦁    Referencing illegal content.
  ⦁    Referencing illegal activities.

Advertising

  ⦁    Advertising non-beneficial, non-MY.GAMES related businesses, organizations, or websites.
  ⦁    Impersonating any Administrator associated with MY.GAMES or NetEase.

Copyrighted Material

  ⦁    Including copyrighted material in user-created content without approval.


SEVERE VIOLATIONS

Ownership/Selling of the Account or Virtual Items.

MY.GAMES does not recognize any purported transfers of virtual property executed outside of the Game, or the purported sale, gift or trade in the “real world” of anything that appears or originates in the Game.

Accordingly, you may not sell in-game items or currency for “real” money, or exchange those items or currency for value outside of the Game. Doing as such will lead to accounts being suspended indefinitely, which includes both parties (Buyer and Seller). You can only trade your Aurum for Imperial coins within the games Item Stand.

Transactions involving third party services (commonly named “GoldSellers”) in order to acquire in-game currencies and/or virtual goods represent a similar violation resulting permanent suspension of both parties (Buyer and Seller).

Account Sharing

Account sharing is not allowed as it can lead to unfair advantages in some games; it can also result in the loss of items/characters on the account or even the account itself.

Beware that account sharing between established players and relatives is not permitted. In almost all cases, account sharing leads to a report of a compromised account, in which case the affected account will not receive any item restoration from the Customer Support.

Almost all minor account thefts, which are not related to widespread phishing or fraud, are done by friends, partners or ex-partners, house mates, relatives, etc.

We would like to stress that there is no need to share the account, as MY.GAMES accounts are absolutely free.

We reserve the right to suspend the account temporarily to protect it from any other intrusion and thus protect the characters and equipment until we can analyze your problem and secure the account.

According to the Terms of Service, should the MY.GAMES Customer Support identify an account as shared, respective actions will be taken against the account, which may lead to a permanent suspension.

Real-Life Information and Threats

  ⦁    Threatening someone with real-life violence or harm.
  ⦁    Distributing another player's, or a MY.GAMES employee's real-life information (name, address, phone number, etc.).
We will not tolerate real-life threats or distribution of personal information in our games. We apply severe penalties in these cases and engage local law enforcement to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

Racial, Ethnic, or National

  ⦁    Promoting racial, ethnic, or national hatred.
  ⦁    Using a racial, ethnic, or national slur.
  ⦁    Alluding to symbols of racial, ethnic, or national hatred.
  ⦁    Malicious references to factions and events of major conflicts of the 20th and 21st centuries.
 
Extreme Sexuality or Violence

  ⦁    Referring to extreme and/or violent sexual acts.
  ⦁    Referring to extreme and/or violent real life actions.

Sexual Orientation

  ⦁    Insulting or negatively portraying someone based on their sexual orientation.

Religion

  ⦁    Negatively portraying major religions or religious figures.
  ⦁    Insulting or negatively portraying someone based on their religious orientation.

Exploitation

  ⦁    Exploiting bugs, abusing game mechanics, or cheating the game.


GRIEFING OTHER PLAYERS

  ⦁    Entering a raid or PvP / PvE event and not participating.
  ⦁    Purposely pulling enemies or taking health orbs in order to kill teammates.
  ⦁    Intentionally dying to put their team at a disadvantage.
  ⦁    Use of third-party programs that provides an unfair advantage or quick progression through the game.


Guild CHAT

Because of the voluntary nature of guild participation, we take a more lenient stance in guild channels. Only the most severe violations (i.e. Racial/Ethnic/National, Extreme Sexual/Violence, Real-life Threats) will be considered.
