How to Fix Localization Issues

If you see localization issues within Conqueror’s Blade, including missing text or Chinese text, it could be due to old hotfixes (also referred to as ‘hot patches’) within the games files not being removed correctly. To fix this problem, you need to delete the old patches by following these steps:

Please ensure you close Conqueror’s Blade and the MY.GAMES Launcher before doing this.

First, navigate to the ‘hot patch’ folder:

  1. Go to the Conqueror’s Blade game folder. This can be accessed through the MY.GAMES Launcher by going to Conqueror’s Blade, and clicking the small downwards-facing arrow next to the ‘Play’ button. Click ‘Open game client folder’.
  2. When the folder has been opened, follow this pathway: Content > _hot_patch > client
  3. In the client folder, you will find the hot patches for the latest version of Conqueror’s Blade, and possibly some that remain from previous versions.

Deleting the hot patches:

  1. The current version of the game can be seen on the Conqueror’s Blade section of your MY.GAMES Launcher, next to the language selector and to the left of the ‘Play’ button.
  2. Inside the client folder, look for the patches from earlier versions of Conqueror’s Blade, and delete them from the folder.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Conqueror’s Blade will also remove the old hot patches from your client files.
